Resin Bonded Driveways in Aldershot, Farnham and Guildford, Surrey.

Resin driveways are becoming a popular choice now in Britain after its popularity in countries such as Australia and America. The many benefits include its low maintenance, durability and rapid installation. In some cases a resin driveway can be laid over your existing tarmac or concrete driveway. Some customers have become confused as there are two main resin systems to choose from:

BOUND

Resin bound surfacing is fully SUDs compliant, enabling water to drain away effectively, limiting flooding.

The bound system mixes natural aggregate, marble or recycled glass (stone) and clear resin thoroughly together. During this process, each particle of stone is fully covered in resin.

Once mixed, it is immediately laid on a stable surface, to a smooth permeable finish. The finished depth of a resin driveway varies between 12mm and 24mm – depending on the size and type of stone used and the application..

Using a resin bound system allows us to combine different sizes and colours of stone, offering a wide variety of finishes.

BONDED

This system involves applying a film of resin to the surface, on top of which clean, dry aggregate is scattered; completely covering the resin. Once cured, any excess stone is swept up. The size of stone used in the bonded system ranges from 1mm to 6mm. The thin, impermeable, single stone layer tends to have a more textured finish. This system delivers a non-permeable, single stone layer surface.

We can offer various resin bound driveway solutions in the areas of Aldershot, Guildford, Farnham, Farnborough, Camberley, Reading, Basingstoke and Bracknell or any other area in and around Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
